‘Dreaming’ is a watercolor series of beautiful tropical flowers and imagined hummingbirds and butterflies. Paintings inspired by the natural beauty and wildlife of the Caribbean and Central American Rainforest.
‘Heliconia bihai’ originally from Northern South America is now found through out the tropics. The Beautiful flower brackets are a deep red with a thin lime green edge. The stalks grow to 4’ or more with leaves up to 5’ long.

Discovery , Dolphin Oil Painting

I painted this 4'x5' oil after a dream about Pita.

This amazing dolphin would meet me each morning at sunrise - as I was enjoying a cup of tea on the dock. She knew when the tea was finished that I would come in for a swim with her...

My first surprises - when getting to know this wonderful soul, was her facial expressions, which clearly showed in her moods, her laugh lines and the wrinkles around her eyes and mouth. My second surprise was that I would learn her games…

Caverna Diablo II Dolphin Watercolor

A watercolor I painted after cave diving with wild dolphins off the outer Cayes of Belize.
After swimming for months with my escorts, I started having dolphin dreams, not dreams of dolphins - rather being one of them, one of the family pod and seeing the world through their eyes...

Two dolphins peer into a cave, dripping with stalagmites and stalagmites - natural formations creating ancient sculptures from a time when the cave was above sea level. In the low light, the sculptures have the look of bearded demons, giving the cave an otherworldly feel and the name Caverna Diablo. The original watercolor painting on D'Arches paper is available - $2800.

Light House Reef

Painted after many dives and snorkel days around Light House Reef, Belize. Caribbean Reef Series
My paintings are from my dreams, post adventures, and painted from my imagination.
This oil painting is of a beautiful underwater scene of Caribbean reef fish. A Stoplight Parrotfish, Juvenal Wrasse and a brilliant Yellow-tailed Damsel, swimming with other tropical reef fish though a lush forest of bright corals and sponges.

I had a wonderful surprise early one morning as I looked up to admire my pretty tropical flower garden and Black Orchid in full bloom ...a young Jaguar curiously peering in my cabin window.
